It with great joy that I get to share images of the sweetest proposal — my dearest friend Rachel said her best YES to Evan, and I am elated for their life together. Evan took great thought, time, and intentionality in proposing by decorating their beautiful church, Grace Community, with mile stones from their relationship. The isles were filled with florals, candles, photos, and written stories of their ebenezers– remembering the ways the Lord has helped them every step of the way. Evan was waiting at the end of the isle, excitedly anticipating Rachel. After the blissful yes (!!!), taking communion, praying, and shooting some engagement photos, they went to Rachel’s home (The Green House) for another surprise– all their friends and family gathered to celebrate! For me, it was an honor to have a front row seats into my friends’ lives. To watch the proposal unfold, to see the surprise and joy firsthand, there’s really no words to express the sacredness. (Okay yes I confess, I cried when Rachel first walked into the church and we hugged. That moment. Pure adoration for her.)
