Meet Dori + Matt (and lil baby Piper). The most honoring part of being a photographer is capturing people’s monumental seasons of life, telling their unique story. For Dori and Matt, my dearest friends, I had the honor to document their engagement, wedding, and now their growing family. The Birmingham Botanical Gardens + greenhouse made the perfect location for the free-sprited, colorful, early spring shoot.
Their healthy girl Piper was born TODAY, February 17th at 1:47pm, 6lbs 6.5oz, 19in long. So much rejoicing, praise Jesus!!! And I just so happened to receive the film scans back today, so it was divine timing to share this bohemian garden maternity session! Welcome to the world and Happy Birthday, beautiful Piper Maddox Burnett.
