Busby Family // Autumn Birmingham Fine Art Film Family Photography

Here’s the big Busby crew. They were precious to capture. We photographed their family story at Veterans Park in Hoover, AL on a sunny autumn afternoon.

Entire family photos don’t have to be stiff or boring. The key to getting good shots with grandparents, aunts, uncles, and little ones, is a little coordination of outfits, the Busby’s did a nice combo of neutral fall colors, and that allowed the important things to stand out: the people. Also there needs to be a whole lot of snuggles and playfulness and beautiful light and maybe a bribe of cake for the little ones 🙂

Joel and Mandy Busby are dear to my husband and me. Joel Busby is our Pastor at Grace Fellowship and officiated our wedding! Mandy Busby is a fellow photographer and creative friend. And they make cute little kiddos– goodness I will never get over their little girl Millie Sue and her vibrant curiosity with the world.

I really do love family sessions. They are quite special and sacred to me.
