Franklin, TN Autumn Backyard Wedding + Helicopter Getaway // Connor + Rachel

This sweet backyard wedding was located in Franklin, the stunning country outskirts of Nashville, Tennessee. The kindest couple, Rachel + Connor, are both wildly talented photographers, so it was a giant honor to shoot their wedding day! Everything was classic and simple, with a creative modern twist. The venue overlooked green rolling hills and the weather was a perfect sunny autumn day. I’ve never teared up as much at any wedding like this one– the bride’s heart-felt first look with her two brothers, her mother walking her down the isle, and the ceremony being so personal and story-filled. Their love for Jesus and community was displayed throughout the entire day. My favorite parts were the helicopter getaway (!!!) and a giant dance party reception that ended up in everyone jumping in the pool! Yep, even the bride and groom. It was wild and memorable day.
