Meet Lauren + Ben. Their late June wedding took place at the darling Altadena Presbyterian Church, a quaint white church nestled in the countryside of Birmingham, Alabama. Their day embraced whimsy flowers, hints of vintage detail, and simple summery flares, yet kept the emphasis on the sacred union for which we were gathered. The couple’s joy was magnified by the fact that the wedding day marked the end of a cross-country long distance relationship for Lauren + Ben.
Despite the sporadic rainfall, the sun never stopped shining brightly, reflecting the couple’s high spirits and giddy affection. The reception was held at the stunning Riverchase Country Club, where guest enjoyed an elegant three course meal. To finish out the day, we captured intimate golden hour portraits next to the gorgeous lake and forest. This couple was effortlessly kindhearted and gentle, and I loved capturing their relationship.
