Amy and Sawyer are two of my dearest friends, so it was a distinct honor to capture their engagement session. This couple is a powerhouse for the Kingdom and in the medical field– compassionate and driven nurse and doctor. What a combo. They both love people deeply and crave authenticity, adventure, and a good road trip. So it was a no-brainer when Amy suggested to shoot in the mountains and we told each other “note to self: always do the crazy idea.” So we did. It was a whirlwind 24 hour trip sunrise shoot on the border of Tennessee and North Carolina at Roan Mountain State Park. We danced to Drake, paused and worshiped on the top of the mountain, got soaked by rain, stopped in our tracks by the mist and sunshine peeping through the forest, and stood under the rainbow– clear sign of the Father’s faithfulness throughout their relationship. Amy + Sawyer, what a joyyyyy it is to be in your life fan-club and stand next to you on your wedding day this fall. Let’s get this party started!
PS- I will be rebranding this business soon, so be on the lookout for me changing the business over to “Liz Bacon” –I’m excited to share new things with you in the coming weeks. Also I am still booking for 2018-2019, so lets create some art together!
